Foundations

Krishnamurti established several Foundations in different parts of the world. Each has responsibility to preserve Krishnamurti’s teachings and make them available. They are not religious or spiritual organisations but exist to provide a service to interested people. The Foundations work very closely with one another and Trustees regularly visit each other and maintain close contact.

Schools

Krishnamurti started several schools in India, one in England and one in U.S.A. Since Krishnamurti did not lay down a method or philosophy, these schools are different in their approach. However, they share a common interest in providing an education that is more than teaching of knowledge and skills and in attempting to educate for the art of living.

It is for people who would like to be in a quiet environment where they could give full attention to these teachings and their implications in their own lives. It is hoped and intended that people will use the Centre, the teachings of Krishnamurti and the atmosphere of quiet enquiry here to deepen their understanding.
