Through tradition, through education, through conditioning, you have said, ‘I am different from fear, I must control fear, I rationalise fear,’ and therefore there is a division between the observer and the observed. But the observer is the observed. So then what takes place? That is, the ‘what is’ is fear. My habit has been to say, ‘I am different from that,’ and therefore I could act upon it. Now I cease to act upon it: I am that, therefore there is no action. When there is no action, what takes place? Fear is not.
