While I am looking to free myself from conditioning, I am creating problems because challenges are always taking place; I am not responding fully to them. I see and understand completely the futility and waste of useless examination. So I am no longer wasting my energy, my thought, my emotion by saying, ‘How am I to get rid of it? How stupid it is to have this conditioning! What am I to do?’ All the thoughts which go into this examination are such an utter waste of energy. I see that. Therefore I have tremendous energy, and whatever the challenge is, I meet it. And I learn as I meet the challenge, not from the background of my conditioning but as I go along.
